My life would be no different because Yes I do have one but no one calls me so I rarely use my cell only during the summer i guess and during emergencies but other than that life would be the same.
Fact: people who say they hate cell phones in this thread don't have a cell phone because mommy or daddy didn't pay for them.
 I just rang someone up like, 5 mins ago on my *mobile*. They are handy, but I mostly use IM as its cheaper for me
Cell phones do help alot in many communication aspects like when you are lost somewhere and there is no Land line phone available nearby and stuff.. I think cell phones became an important part of our lives although life is still the same without them if you don't look after the use of them.
Fact: I pay my own phone bill for my cell. I don't really like them because of the constant usage of them by most people, sure it's a great thing but there isn't a need to be on it all the time or constantly texting. That is the part I hate about cell phones.
I got one recently, like two weeks ago. I tought people were crazy when they told me "My god how can you live without one? I'd go crazy after a copule of days". I can really see why now. The answer would be worse. Of course there would be other things, but no match. Walkie-talkie? Yeah right. I use it all of the time. For instance, I don't know if my friends will go to the beach today and they're not on msn. I ask, and I keep asking where they are, what time will they be there, etc. etc. If there wasn't a phone, I wouldn't know that, and I would have to go alone and look for them, if they were there. You know, it is important a lot of times, and a good way to keep in touch.
My life would be pretty much the same, I don't use msn that much and i don't talk on the phone alot. The only thing i use mine for is getting in touch with people to find out where they are and keep in touch with my family if i am away somewhere lol. Thought sometimes i wish there was no such things cause u can't go no where without someone knowing where u are almost >_>.
I don't own a cellphone and I don't see myself always using my cellphone if I did have one. I'd probably use it for the reasons Maffers just said.
Life is AWESOME with cellphones but doesn't matters without them too, just a thought and I think 70% of the people should agree to my thought.
