I'm not really a gamer, but what I hate most about wireless mouses is that sometimes they don't pick up movements. For example, when you click something, it does not click it... or it might be because the past year I have only purchased really cheap wireless mouses. I just want to know which one is better in terms of specs, since I am not too much into mouses and I would not know which one is better. FYI: These mouses cost over $100 US lol, which is 1/10 of what I normally pay for a mouse.. but I am getting a great deal from a friend I know.
get a logitech mx518 , 1600 DPI corded and looks great + its cheaper then those 2 mouses and can do just the same i had mine for 3-4 months now and it f'in rocks
If you are a Gamer get a G5... (NOT THE G7 IT HAS NO CORD!!! no cord sucks imo) If you are not get the Revolution (just looks cooler at a normal desktop)
they don't cost $100, they cost $50-60(USD) as for your question, if you do moderate gaming - for a desktop I'd probably go for the G7; for a laptop I'd probably go for the MX Revolution, though that's with only moderate knowlege on the matter. if you want a good general use mouse- MX revolution either way. ====================== on corded mice the best two are the Razer Death adder and the logitch MX518(contrary to popular belief the G5 is NOT the best mouse, at this point highend optical mice are more precise than laser mice) ======================
The first one. Definitely. It may be a gaming mouse but there are no problems with it, it's way more comfortable. The second one has way too much overkill. Flipping through documents at light speed? For real? Who cares when your mouse has 2 batteries (chargeable) and there aren't any problems with it. Believe me you're always going to have battery life. Also, if you're going for the G7, don't. The G5 is the exact same except it actually has a forward button, and instead of batteries, you can customize the weight of it (and it's also more comfortable).
if you're used to multiple buttons you can certainly tell the difference. in games the forward/backward buttons on my mouse are mapped to reload/weapon swap and I absolutely NEED that now. though this is coming from the guy who is adamant about optical's superiority in current day mice...
If I had to choose between the 2, the first. Still, i'd buy a G5 or mx518 and a G15 combo for the prices of those..
I used Logitech G5, although G7 is not as good even though it is wireless (which just makes it heavier and slower), really depends on which game you play :_)
I would get the first, if you don't really mind the specs, the first is much for comfortable to use long term.
