after the dissapointing shrek 3, this was a relief. the plot is very very original (strong point of the simpsons series) and the jokes were near limitless (another point), especially thru the 1st half of the whole movie. however, i think they kinda stretched the second half a bit but i didnt suck. anyone got a clip of homer sticking up his middle fingers??? great avatar that'll make
first 10-20 mins of the movie made me think wow they actually did a good job, but then came the crap that made it like a normal episode.
300 transformers then on a lower level there is the Simpsons movie, not as absolutely enthralling as these two movies but definately one of the best releases this year.
ive heard so much hnype about this people saying that its good etc and then u get like the odd few people saying that all this time waiting for it to come has been wasted!
The time was wasted. There was like 3 funny parts and then a whole bunch of flat-liners. Just my opinion, I'm sure everyone will argue otherwise. Also, why would they make a sequel to that piece of crap?
I laughed through most of it, some parts weren't as funny as others, but I enjoyed it. It did seem stretched out, and some parts that would've been really funny we're advertised so they weren't as funny. Good movie overall.
On scale 1 to 10 it was solid 6 (and that is just because i like the series) Lot's of funny scenes in first part of the movie but second part was like one not so good episode. But nevertheless why not to watch it.
It was a fairly funny movie, but nothing to write home about. Bart's wang display was completely unexpected and was quite possibly the crowd favorite.
