I will NEVER open that program agai,it probly lowered my life by 50 minutes , so FREAKIN HARD and it was my first 3d program also.
its hard caus PROs use it. but i have a basic knowlage of c4d and im reading on how to move over to maya
See Maya is different. Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 were made using models from Maya. The level of skill, patience, and dedication it takes, is beyond me. I think I'll try it some time later. For now, Ps and C4D and 3dSM are fine.
im learning 3d stuff on Ulead Cool 3d productio..that seems like a pretty easy proggy so far...id use that before you step up to Maya...Just to get the feel for different stuff

I've tried the learning version, but I couldn't do anything with it, so I uninstalled it until I could get the full version. Then I will mess with it.
My computer seems to be too crappy to run maya or something lol maya stops responding if i wanna render something... maybe is just like terragen like u gotta wait some mins till it works again or w.e..
