How does the copyright work? The second you upload a signature or something along those lines, if someone takes it and claims they made it, it is copyright infringment (sp?). Just wondering, if so, Im going to post all of my work on a dA account :D

    Yes.
Once you upload your work to DA though, they gain rights for it and THEY Can use it without your permission.

Obviously, that won't affect 99.9% of people so nothing to worry about, but yes, once you upload something, if someone takes it and uses it without asking it's the same as ripping.

make sure nothing in the sig at all is copyrighted though or they'll remove it, that means all gaming renders and publicity stocks

    Your allowed Halo sigs etc.
It depends who it's owned by, when people do Halo Fanart etc. you just do a "Copyright owned by Bungie - Master Chief" kind of thing.

Wait, so if you make a really good wallpaper, can they sell it or how does that work?

Technically, they can sell it, rip it, do anything they want with it. You really don't have to worry about it though, they're only going to do anything like that with the very best, people who do it for a living etc.
