Don't you ever get the feeling that with every sig you make, you just simply stand on one spot without being able to increase your skills? Well that's how I feel right now. I've been trying numerous times now... But I can't seem to get it right. I know the basic outline of how to make the sig I want, but I just can't pull it off you know. And Looking back at my sigs, I feel as though I haven't become better at all... Sig made today... Sig made 3 months ago... (It was a request) Any tips on how to break the dejavu feeling?
all i can say is just experiment without the use of tutorials and see what you can come up with by creating a style that really suits you as a person instead of following any trends, or try another style like manip? try and keep the text basic so that it fits in with the tag aswell or just hide it in between some layers if you feel it doesnt quite look good where you want it.
I am going through a similar thing, which is why I decided to become active here. I am hoping that being around new people will inspire me or just give me new ideas. Another thing is that I PM other people that are a lot better then me and just ask them a few question. Maybe how they get a certain effect or just some tips on improving.

Those two sigs are really different, and theres a point where the only way for you to get better is to move to different styles or different forms of art.
