I like noise rock. :( Honestly you'll find at least one song or album or even band from every genre of music. Anyways...

JRock's pretty good, my friend sends me a lot from there and we talk a lot about it. I like this new underground band that recently came out called Angelo. Dir En Grey, X-Japan, LOUDNESS, Boris, and A LOT more kick ass.

One thing's for sure, JRock is way better than the crap America keeps on getting. (E.G. Fall Out Gay, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, Taking Back Sunday etc. etc.)

And then there's the emo/screamo scene here, which lost it's flare YEARS before it hit the mainstream. Meh. There are still some fantastic Western bands going around though, like Muse, Sonic Youth, Pearl Jam, Melvins, Rodrigo y Gabriela, etc. etc.

J-Rock is one of my favorite music genres.

I'm big on The GazettE. Some people make fun of them because of the way they dress and what not, but I think it helps them stand out. Which is what visual kei is about, anyway. And of course, their music is great. Catchy too.

Well I do like The Locust, and JRock is better than the crap we have here, but the sceamo scene didn't lose it's flare before it hit mainstream it just blew up with ----ty ass bands that suck.

I've been getting into D'espairs Ray recently, after having a few of their albums for two+ years. >_< I almost went to see 12012 in New Jersey, but since I didn't know abotu it till the night before, we didn't have a chance to plan around it.

I've also been listen to "The Final" alot, its such a catchy song.
I was bummed I couldn't go to New York or Family Value's last summer to see Diru; oh well, hopefully they'll play a show in Tokyo, when I go over.

It might not be "J-Rock" but Boris' new album with sunn o))) is good.

Visual Kai... Dir En Grey did it, X-Japan started it.

I want to listen to Boris' new album, maybe because it features Kim Thayil (Guitarist if the now broken-up American "grunge" band Soundgarden, my favorite band ^_^ ).

I'm listening to X Japan right now. :)
