I think he should go die. Im as heart broken as I was when Walters record of rushing yards was broken by Emmit Smith. IT TOOK EMMIT LIKE 2 MORE YEARS THEN WALTER! And now we got people on steroids in the record books... This is a sad world.

It REALLY pisses me off. I mean look at Hank Aaron. I don't exactly recall him ever taking steroids.....

Congrats to Barry, he worked long and hard for it. Even if he took steriods, which no one could prove he did...

Even if he did you cant charge him for anything.. its like you give him a ticket for speeding 2 months ago..

Im sure many of you hate him, and Im not exactly his fan.. but still, he is the king whether you like it or now.. And he should enjoy it while he can, arod is ganna be the new king.. hes on pace for 850 homeruns

For sure. Even if he doesn't use them now, he did use them.

He said he took them but that was before they were illegal, since then hes passed every test. I think he deserves the record.

Innocent until proven guilty. Unless there's solid proof he took steroids, the record belongs to him.

ok i can understand how everyone is "steriods steriods steroids" but look at this. hes played 22 seaseons in MLB, he was a hall of famer before 1998 (when he allegedly took steriods). not to mention the simple fact that it takes a great amount of talent to hit a baseball. its something like 1.2 seconds you have to react to a ball that has just been thrown before it crosses the plate. so i guess my point is, people need to look PAST the steroids and realize 1. from the late 80's to the mid 90's EVERYONE in MLB was using them 2. no average joe can start taking steriods and hit a home run 3. its a sport that is ment to be entertaining people love to see a homerun and he delivered 756 of them 3. hank and harry played in 2 totally different eras of baseball, today the game is faster you have to be crazy athletic to play it and ball parks are bigger today then they were when hank broke the record.
