Depends on the mother bored your using..
your going to need alot more fans, even though the grpahic card will come with one, u'll need another to plug in so your computer wouldn't overheat.

    Well id say

By the geuss of it your using a Pci mother bored. so get the

    GeForce 7600GT Extreme Edition

since its over cloaked and has a overall nice touch.

Yeah, I had a gforcer once, and my pc kept overheating.. the card was way too overcloaked so everytime i would play a game it would crash.

    But the graphics where amazing.

    Glad i could help.

adding on to that the fans don't cost the much.. put in like 10-30 bucks and you dont have to worrie about it.

Order all parts from a single online shop and build your own, I suggest Sallandautomatisering.nl or Azerty.nl Wait for xelink to post a build (me is lazy, as always)and I'll grab the links for you. Btw. A 8600GTS is better then a 7600GT.

Edit: Had some time. you only have to add a case and you will have a better pc then most oem can give you for 1000€

Why not take my build which is better and change the PSU to bigger one and swap the rams and cooler. 2Gb is more then enough, don't get 4gig. and add a soundcard ofc. The psu you have is probably crap quality.

uhh... dude. if you have a lowend card from either company... IT WILL SUCK. Just because you didn't buy a good one in the past doesn't mean the company is bad(though it may or may not mean that you got ripped off somewhere).
no the GS is worse than the GT, it's just $100-130 USD vs. $150-170USD

again the 7900GS outperforms the 8600GTS in most cases. And the x1950pro generally outperforms the 7900GS...

    take a look...
    http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_200...2=712&chart=318

slightly outdated admittedly, the 2900s have come up a bit with better drivers but still generally accurate.

on another note, since I'm lazy and Dev is awesome, go almost exactly with what Dev said, he's a pretty damn knowledgeable guy and knows more about European pricing than I. only thing I'd say though is that buying a 2900 over a 8800GTS is debatable though it depends largely on what you play and what resolution you use.

EDIT: xelink=me had issues logging into this account

just letting you know 8800GTSes are just over 200% more powerful than 8600GTSes.

again 8600s are piss poor cards(for their price).

I really appriciate your reply xelink. :)

The difference between the builds is that the 1300 has a quadcore, somewhat better motherboard, a better cpu cooler and a better videocard. Oh and a seperate pci soundcard. Still both builds should be great game rigs.
