who are they? ive been reading mostly pullman books lately but ive just bought a deaver one anyone a fan of him?
Aldous Huxley - A Brave New World Read it and crawl under your bed and hide from the disturbia of your own life and society for a year, kids.
I just finished The Grapes of Wrath. I'd like to read Walton now by Henry David Thoreau. I used to be big on the little fiction books and such. Now I like to read like military intelligence books and that kind of thing(Kyle Burns, Tom Clancy, etc.), and I've kind of grown a taste for more sophisticated literature. Like I said, I want to read Walton, Catcher in the Rye, 1984, Brave New World, and a couple other books, but I don't think I'll have time before school starts, and I don't think I'll have much free time while school's going on.
Katherine Neville/Dean Koontz/Eoin Colfer The 'Artemis Fowl' series (by Eoin Colfer) is a must read for anyone with an imagination and a 5th grade education.
Ray Bradbury, Chuck Palahniuk, and Friedrich Nietzsche. They all write pretty interesting books. I mainly read comics and graphic novels though. Very few books keep my attention.
I read Pullman's GC trilogy, great books. I also love Tom Clancy, JK Rowling, J.R.R Tolkein, Robert Jordan and Brian Jacques.
i love clancy books from what ive read anyway and 1984 has to be one of my favourate books of all time
