Yeah, I agree with what he said. Pixel fonts dont look so good when they're big. I don't like the colors too much either, but for a first, I suppose it's not bad. Also, you shouldn't put description text in images either. It looks better and it's faster loading if its in a DIV with the image as the background
yea it will load slower if you have big solid images as backgrounds. make the content boxes repeating backgrounds so they can expand with your text and stuff =] and divs are easier than tables.
