http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/ WoW is releasing yet another expansion, which will take place in the continent or Northerend. It will also have new hero classes such as Death Knight for those hardcore players. Also, lvl limit is now 80 (who didn't see that one coming...)
I have just watched the preview, it looks awesome the only thing I dont like right now is the pvp system ( AB , WSG are boring =P )
oh no... Now its another expansion people are going to get addicted to.. and spend money on the game plus the monthly fees
THe monthly fees are what keep people like you, watahboi, off of our game, so we can enjoy it more. They are also for well maintained servers, with a very steep population growth, coming to be known as the single most played MMORPG in history (even with paying per month). I am personally psyched for the expansion, but I really hope they don't make the lich king, of all people, the single most 'immortal' mortal and strongest mortal in WoW lore to be some puny 25 man raid that Nihilum will beat in under 6 months again. I hope they make raiding moreso for fun, rather than for quick loot and fast reputation. I hope they introduce more than just the deathknight, and hope the deathknight isn't some class you can pick from the beginning, but have to undergo a very lengthy questline to achieve, and that there be multiple hero classes and/or death knight sub-classes rather than 1 static class that has the same abilities. But in the end, if executed properly, I know I am going to love it more than this space goat loving outlands with a puny raiding system.
I watched the preview and to be a death knight i think you'd have to die or somewhat , maybe its a quest that you'll have to do and you'll be surronded by mobs as well . and auto ressurect as a death knight.
And you didn't see this coming? Hence why I quit before TBC. I loved the game, don't get me wrong, it was fun as hell and it keeps you entertained and it's enjoyable. But when TBC was coming out I knew my gear I worked a Year for would be wasted. And then I thought to myself "Hold on, then what happens if they make a new expansion, I've worked for another year for the exact same thing, for all my gear to become worthless when they raise the cap again" If you didn't think ahead and see this coming, congratulations on being a moron, you just wasted a year of your life.
I can't wait for this. I don't really like WoW, but I love Arthas and the whole Undead storyline. Plus Death Knight looks awesome. I'll be buying it the day it comes out, even though Warhammer Online will be out by then.
You know dementedLOGIC I played WoW before.... I got to level 70 and raided but exactly what Aedus is saying. All the hard work to get to 70 than after that raiding for new gear again. Not going to do that all over. I am not keeping you from playing WoW. I am just voicing my opinion.
why do they need another expansion >_< lol i dont play wow but im sure they could spend their time on something other blizzard fans would love...such as D3 =D lol
[/quote] You claim raiding is hard? Pre-TBC I would agree. In TBC Karazhan can EASILY be cleared in under 7 raids. Pre-TBC, yeah, 6 months for the FIRST guild to clear Naxxaramas from its release. TBC, first guild to clear karazhan, gruul's, magetheridon's, serpentshrine, tempest keep, mount hyjal, and black temple took under 6 months. They are catering to the casual player, yes, like most MMOs bent on getting money from their consumers do, very rarely will you see another game like Final Fantasy 11 that takes endless months of hardcore 8-12 hour days to hit thel evel cap with 1 profession / job.
Well i was in no --- guild or anything. Raiding was pretty easy being a pally..... I wasnt in the best guild on my realm but right after I stopped playing they went into Gruul. I personally never played Final Fantasy 11 so I Wouldnt know about that.
