After seeing the movie Deja Vu I thought of this question... If you knew what was going to happen in the future a few days from the event happening and you knew pretty much every detail, do you think the event would change or alter if you tried to alter it? I believe that if you tried to alter something you knew would happen I believe the same thing would happen the same way, and even if you tried to change what happen I think what you would change would just be what was supposed to happen such as you knowing about what would happen... If anyone is lost please say so I think this would be interesting in discussing. Yes I know I worded it weird, couldn't think of any other way to word it...
Hmmm... I think this could go either way really. I think if you knew something life changing was going to happen before it did, that there would be an opportunity to change that event. Why else would you have been given to information? I think that with this said information you received it would be within your power to change said event. Would it be easy, or a straight forward path to change whatever was going on?.. more thne likely not. But I think it could be done. Now, to play the opposite side of the fence; being given this information could just be some sick joke the powers at be played on you. Because every action you took from that point on would be set within the perameters of this big event. It would be factored in that you would attempt to change what was going to happen, and if anything by knowing of what was going to happen, and then trying to prevent that, the methods you used to stop what was going to happen, may be what made the event happen in the first place. So no matter what you did to try and stop it, you would only be denying the inevidable. But this is just me bored as hell, and trying to find something amusing to do at work. T.T Was a cool concept to think about. Thanks.
If time travel existed in the future, how come no one has came back to our time? That proves time travel was never created IMO.
He's right. A time machine has never, nor will it ever exist. UNLESS the people who created it knew the dangers of traveling too far back in time and only traveled backwards 5 minutes or forward 5 minutes.
Wow you guys are retarded... How can time travel exist? It's not like life is a video where it's being stored and recorded so you can rewind it back.
I believe there are ways to predict it. Like nostradamus. I too was a sceptic but I think he predicted WW2 and the empire state building disaster before it really happened. In the City of God there will be a great thunder, Two brothers torn apart by Chaos, while the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb- That's what he wrote. I think it is quite right, considering he wrote that 300 years ago. The towers feel tho. But it seems preety okay to me. I'd show you other examples, but I don't want to bother you. And time travel seems more real to me then ways to predict the future. I think one day someone will be able to build a time machine. I think it already exists in theory, right? That's just me trying to confuse the sceptics here. ^_^
Time travel is possible but not plausible. But for the for those that are just talking about time travel if you knew what would happen in the future do you think you could change it or do you think it would happen the same? Merged Post: The only problem with what nostradamus wrote is that it was way too vague. It would be way more likely if he gave a year as to what would happen but he didn't so its hard to say.
Two words. God Complex!! Was he the same guy that predicted about "two flying birds/machines" would crash into the twin towers ?
I ment world trade center. There are some details. Here's more stuff that he wrote. In the year 1999 and seven months The Great King of Terror will come from the sky, He will bring back to life the great king of the Mongols. Before and after the God of war reigns happily. Century 10, Q 72 At forty-five degrees, the sky will burn, Fire approaches the great new city, Immediately a huge, scattered flame leaps up When they want to have verification from the Norman It's not all correct, but it's okay. I think it's enough to make everyone doubt it. Humm. Did he predict it or not? Fluke? Is there a way to see the future? Concidence? I'm not thinking hard on it.
I think i'd rather just not know whats going to happen in the future. I'd rather just let it happen than try to mold everything into a future i'd like.
