Oh man. I am going to go on my rant and rave about the bible (CHRISTIAN). I am also going to talk about the evolution theory slightly. This is all opinion, and if I get -repped, you will get it in return. I was a Christian my whole life. I went to Church Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday of every week. I went to the little pow-wows and the meetings of the kids and all that. But you got to think, how many times can the bible be taught? It's one book. It's not like every week it gets a new chapter or something. I quit going to church once I was big enough that my mom couldn't pick me up and put me in the car. I am not putting down God or nothing, but its really boring. Why is it so hard for people to accept the fact that billions of years ago, this space dust or something blew up, and different sections of the dust formed the planets. But they are quick to accept the fact that a man that no one has ever seen made everything. He made two people, Adam and Eve. So, if there was only two, that means everyone is related to one another right? So next time you're getting down with your man/woman, just remember that some way they are related to you, ya incest freak! How come people today depict Adam, Eve, Moses, Noah, Jesus, God, etc. as white? They were in the middle east! They would've been dark! And when Noah took only 2 of every animal on the ark, you got to think of how many different species there were. He woud have had to of made a big ass ark to fit all them animals! And the chances of one man taming hundreds of wild creatures and making sure they could stay on some boat for a month without killing one another? Come on! Think about it people! Is it really sensible? It's up to you to decide really. This is just my thoughts and views.
love these discussions I've been to church, I was taught that the bible was the truth and I didn't believe it. At school they told us stories from the bible, at home I watched Jurassic Park with my dad really made a difference for me that my parents are atheists, I had the choice to believe in God, christianity and the bible and I have chosen not to believe in them. also an important part of religion is the birthcontrol-abortion-homosexuality discussion. They just show how old fashioned and decadent the church has gotten... btw Debacle, -repping someone for his/her opinion is not allowed and pathetic

What religion did you convert to mate? Because I am a Muslim and Christianity is slightly similar to our Religion but has its own differences I don't see a point in you saying that you converted to another religion for what?
I'll agree with you on that a bit "how many times can the bible be taught" I've heard dozens of repeated lessons. on another note there is a whole branch of "christian science and theory" which pertains to any questions such as that of the ark. Merged Post: depends on how you define smaller. More people claim to be christians than muslims though I'm willing to bet that there are more practicing muslims than christians out there.
