ahh... that would explain it. then it's not so bad. only reason I said swap the PSU was because there are better PSUs out there for $100USD. AUD is different entirely.
why should i get the raptor? what difference will it make? i dont mind spending another $200 if it will make $200 worth of difference when gaming but if its not that big of a difference then id preffer to stick to the one im getting.. but if the raptor will make a vast difference ill definately buy it.. p.s. can u PLEASE give reasons to ur comments so i know why im changing somthing.. im only new to all this kinda stuff so i need to understand the difference Merged Post:
raptors are the fastest consumer grade harddrive on the market. that said I went from a raptor to a seagate barracuda 7200.10 and the difference while noticeable(but only barely the average consumer would hardly be able to tell), isn't worth the price difference. If you're that worried about speed, get TWO 7200.10s and run them in RAID0. Performance exceeds that of a raptor.
and the external hard drive? why should i buy an external hard drive? r they fast or somthing? or is it just for the convenience of being able to take it place with you?.. cuz i prolly wouldnt take it anywhere lol unles i go on a james bond data recon mission
they're slower than internal drives. basically just a convenience thing. I prefer flash drives though. $10-15(USD if you get a decent deal) gets you a 2gig drive and that's enough for a lot of stuff... and by the time you need more space, 8gig drives will be 15-25 or so so ehh...
Get the Chimei 22'' widescreen, its better and cheaper. for the graphics card get a generic one, or just even drop it to a 320mb. for motherboard get a gigabyte p35-s3 psu is fine, but maybe take it to a corsair hx-520. do you need a case? speakers are fine, as is hard drive.
