    DSL > Cable

For 1, DSL can reach 50-100meg in UK by end of this year

I looked on Comcasts website to see they only offer 12meg, Everyone in my city has to have 8meg+ as its the lowest package avaliavle, With people like Bethere offering 24meg and Sky offering 16 in England, DSL is way way faster then cable

Depending where you live, depends what you should get.

DSL , in UK is faster than Cable, i belive.

If New York, where i live, Cable, its 15mbs/sec for download speed, and 2 mbs/sec for upload speed.

I had DSL, it wasn't even a mb, it was 756kbs/sec for download and 256kbs/sec for upload.

Defenetly, in New York area, cable is better. ^_^

I know I'm kind of hijacking this thread, but in the San Fransisco, California area, is DSL slower than Comcast (cable)?

    Check here: https://www.comcast.com/Localization/Locali...ult.ashx&area=0

Put your zip code and check the speeds or the internet information :)

Comcast offers a 16mb package but is limited to certain areas usually any place that has FIOS in the same area. FIOS packages from Verizon are 5MB,16MB and 30MB.
