    yeh with certain games ina s eries
    to get all th little jokes and things you need to play the earlier games. I found so much stuff in 9 stolen form 6.

    6 was interesting, it's fairly decentralized and more open to individual analysis, but if you string EVERYTHING together(and play through it several times to get different scenarios) you find an intricate story. Basically the game plays directly with the storyline not being the central focus(in other games notably 7 and 9 the storyline seems o be the focus and events just follow, in 6 the storyline is in a sense derivded from the events and is very well intermeshed within the game)

    there's a reason nobuo uematsu(music composer)said on an interview that ff6 was the last "true ff game" - notable paradigm shift after FF6. More marketable games. Basically I find the 2d RPGs to have certain characteristics not found in the latter 3d ones.

    the worst imo is any nfs game xP. theyre fun to play and i own at them but the story lines are really cheesey, like you have to take him out before he takes over the street scene D;

    I have played FF 1, 2, 9, and X-2 or whatever that one with the 3 girls was.. Anyway, 9 was the only one that kept me coming back for more. I just got so tired of how often the baddies popped up. All together was an awsome game though.

    To tell you the truth the OOT storyline was innovative, Twilight Princess is really nice but not as innovative in the sence that it didn't bring anything too big but it was enough to be enjoyable.

    I personally like Star Wars: Knights of the old republic storyline. It has nice twists and a great story, although Halo: Combat Evolved is equal to it because of the new features it gave and the great story that really started something great.

    I'd have to say that Zelda Twilight Princess has a good story (as well as the previous 2 parts (Ocarine Of Time & Majora's Mask). :)

    KOTOR seems to have suffered the sequel syndrome, but the 1st was still great. And halo, the gameplay is good i'll give it that, but the story is what really pulled me into it and made it stand out to me above other games.

    I don't think the above statement is needed here.

    It might be overrated to you but not to people who actually like Tupac and B.I.G as well as rap; like me.

    Anyways, for me, it'd probably be one of the final fantasy series. Sometimes they do get confusing but I think that if you follow it, it isn't half that bad.
