Who do you think did the best during this debate, and why?

Please only say if you either watched the debate or if you know what each person is about...

I thought it was a joke. And the Republican one next week (or is it in two?) will be the same and worse; CNN will portray it in a negative light, the questions will still be posed by the uninformed... erm... pseudo-intellectual... EXCUSE ME experienced voters with good morals and a decent grasp of the candidates' stands on position X and position Y that happen to populate the internet, all with added on "OH MY GOD IT'S THE EVIL REPUBLICANS AGAIN."

I didn't feel that the debaters answered the questions sufficiently--instead of getting to the point, it was the usual "let's dance around the issue and showboat for the cameras" theme. I imagine most of the Republicans will be the same. Only reason I'd consider watching is to see what Ron Paul's got to say.

The line up this go around is pathetic. Only decent candidate that can speak without being a hypocrite is Ron Paul, and he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of getting nominated by the Republican Party since he doesn't spout out the obligatory Party rhetoric or do the talking head dance for the cameras.

Quick reminder guys, he didn't ask who you're supporting. The original post was who did THE BEST in the debate... The person you're supporting could've just had a sucky debate night...

Anyway, I didn't end up watching it. Both parties are a joke this year. Newt Gingrich needs to enter on the side of the Republicans, not because he can win (he has no chance in Hell) but apparently he's the only one out there that wants to cut the crap (did anybody else see Newt Goes Nuclear)
It took a lot of guts to say what he did...

Now taking bets on how far this topic gets before it is closed by a mod for excessive flamage.

Hahaha, but in all seriousness I have to agree with Ferret. He said it all.

You read my mind like an open book. The entire debate, from what I saw last night, was basically "Oh I do this and my fellow candidates are lame cause they don't", even though there's a 90% chance they won't do anything they say they would do. After watching the Democratic debate, I'm not even going to bother with the Republican debate.

Democrats and Republicans + Today = Trash.

Why? You and four others are spouting off his name. Why? Why vote for him? What issues does he have the right idea on?
