    i would like to know how i can change the icons on my desktop...
    i have ones i want to use but what format should they be in???
    i would also like to do this with images in firefox like my home and back and such
    plz help

    u can skin fire fox. but changing icons manually will take more kkownledge then u probly posses . buyt 2 change a desktop icon they can be jpeg format all u do is right click go 2 properties and go 2 change icon

    its not working...it says its not an icon file...

    They should be .ico files. I think .png may work for desktop icons as well. If not, there are programs that can convert image files to .ico. Just search Google and im sure you can find one.

    As for Firefox, you have to make a skin. If you really want to do this, you will need to seach for guides as it can be a lot of work.
