Ugh God. I bought it Sunday, got to page like 120 by Monday morning, went freakin' unholy on it tonight, at page 550. I need a thirty hour nap...
Finished it around 6 hours ago on my ride back to the dorm, and - in a way - I am sad. I mean, it was well-written and it is good that the series finally came to an end, but I saw this book in some different light. Besides it being an end to Harry's adventures, it also kind of symbolizes the end of a chapter of my childhood. I am currently going on to become a senior in high school, my last real year of lower education, and now this book comes into my possession. Finishing it makes me realize - partially because I remember reading the first book back in the third or forth grade - that I am not a little kid anymore. In a way, I now look forward to the day that my son and/or daughter comes to me and says she learned about J. K. Rowlings in her Literature class. I'll just smile and tell her/him "I remember reading all seven of her books about that little wizard back when I was only your age." Just wanted to throw that out there.
