Decent Video Card?

Well I'm looking to buy a new one. My current one is a junky intel one that came with my computer. What one do you recommend for a fair price. I'm willing to pay up to around 70$. I looked around newegg and I don't know what one to purchase. A little advice would be nice. O and anything else I should buy. (I have around 300$)

well from the looks of it, your computers a bit old, you could upgrade the video card and ram...but tbh its probably better to just buy another computer after saving up roughly another $200-400

thats probably the best video card you canuse since i think that socket only uses AGP cards also might need a new psu to power it

 

i got my computer 2 years ago and thank you. About how much should i spend on a decent computer. I need one that can power Maya because my current one can't. Any suggestions and price ranges?

 

his system doesn't have an AGP slot since his onboard graphics resides on it.

 

didnt look that deeply into his mobo just that socket isnt exactly current standard

but anyways a good current pc would only be around 700-1000 but really good ones can cost alot more, just for the hell of it i made one with only components and it came out to 7600...but thats with 2 28inch monitors blu ray and all that stuff

Also that video card wouldnt look i researched it and as xelink said you have no agp port all it has is pci= bad video cards for the most part

a good one would be from 600 to about 1200 bucks, you could just save about 200-400 by putting the pc together by yourself, but if you dont know how, dont try because you can brake something.. just save the hassle and get prebuild pc

 

I have relatives that put computers together. But i'm probably just going to buy a new one.

 

usually when you go the OEM route you get overcharged 10-250% depending on what you get.

Anyone know any good ways to make 300$ pretty fast without getting a job?

 

The fastest way is to rob some one, jk, I have no clue how to make Money fast, my cuz who worked for his dad for this week made $300 which i thought was good.

if u have 300 then i suggest a nvidia 7950 with 512mb, it will get u through for awile, maybe 3 years, if u got xtra i suggest dual that and u can get 1024 mb of v ram
