I have downloaded the photoshop cs3 trial. Every time I extract the file to my desktop when its 98% done it comes up with a message saying:

"A problem occured while extracting some files. Check avaliable space on your computer and the write priviledges on the destination folder."

I typed this into google and quite a few people have had this problem but I still haven't found a fix for it. I have 224 GB of freespace left so space shouldn't be the problem.

I would deeply appreciate it if someone could help me.

Maybe try redownloading the trial and then when installing choose a different drive to install to.

You need to download from adobe directly. dont use a download splitter just save to disk. thats what i had to do to make it work.

I mean that you need to save it directly to your hard drive and not use a download splitter.

yes, extract it to your desktop and it should install from there. if not, go in the created folder and run the installer.

The problem is that when I extract that file it says the problem above and it doesn't put everything in the file correctly.

Yea the only thing I can come up with is needing to redownload it. If worse comes to worse just email or call adobe...I will guarantee they can help you.

It should work if you do save to disk. Just run the extractor to the desktop and then run the setup in the new folder.
