Hey guys, I know there are a lot of people on this forum who are good with computers. But let's see if anyone can fix this.. The problem- I used to have Photoshop CS2 on this computer, but my dad must have done something to make it not work anymore. I deleted the program from the computer, and was going to re-install it. Not too long after that, I realized that I had lost the Photoshop disk. So my only option was to try and download the trial version, and use my serial (which is not illegal or anything). I tried downloading it two different ways, and the files were corrupted both times. I finally found a way that works, all the files and stuff are there, and I know for a fact the problem is not the download. I went to install the program, and it said "error reading Temporary Directory 5 for Photoshop_CS2_Tryout." But it has the first four of those files.. Weird, huh? I suppose I have to find a way to get those files back, but where could it have gone? And I thought all files Photoshop related came from the file itself? Any help is greatly appreciated, cause I REALLY want to be making tags again. Erasing the computer is not an option though. I'll give credits if anyone can make it work.
You could downlaod it as warez, like going to a site like mininova.org, and if you use your own serial, it isn't iligal, because you are basicly just donloading the trial version..
Umm... Kawa, downloading the trial version hasn't worked for him, so your idea wouldn't work anyway. I'd recommend either using System Restore, or if worst comes to worst, reformatting your computer.
But what really bakes my noodle is that I tried installing ps on my other computer a while back, and it did the same thing, but with different files.
