i'm not surprised. if MGS 4 doesnt sell, Konami's gonna be in a lot of trouble. if they put it on the 360, its guaranteed to sell. not so on the Ps3.

Yeah, if MGS4 went to the 360, then Konami would be making a safe bet. However, it would be basically a death sentence for PS3, as already said. Guess this just leave the Final Fantasy games to go multi-platform...

[/quote] I disagree with the second portion of the above statement. Even if the MGS 4 doesn't get released to the PS3 at all, one game isn't going to drastically hinder sales. I say that, but that's excluding certain mega hits, like halo. MGS4 isn't online (RIGHT?) and even if it is, I don't think the fan base is big enough and devoted enough to prevent many PS3 sales or divert them.
all i know is if they remake ff7 (and made it as good as the original) AND made ff13 for the PC 360 and ps3 (wishful thinking lol) ps3 sales would drop dramatically. Final fantasy is what would make tons of people buy a ps3, i know it will for me.
[/quote] exactly right. 15 years ago nobody would ever have imagined sonic being on a nintendo platform. they were massive console competitors and now look at just how many craptastic games theyve made with him as the star... in other words, things change quickly in the gaming world. and kojima doesn't have the final say.
