I put a disc in, and nothing happens. I go to My Computer and it says that there is nothing in the disc drive. I only have one disc drive. Is there anyway that I can still use the disc(it's Warcraft 3 btw) without having to put it in the drive? Like can I DL the files from somewhere or something?
Had this problem as well, there is probly just somthing wrong with the disc drive itself. I just used an older one from my old computer untill I get it fixed.
Yea, my disc reader inside is probably messed up. Which sucks, cause this comp is pretty new. I don't have an old computer to use, so looks like im pretty much screwed.
search for new drivers, if not re install all the drivers for the device, it's happened to both my burner and my reader i managed to bring the burner alive by doing that but my reader is just f*cked Merged Post: and since its fairly new return the part/computer, its prob. still on warranty, don't be afraid to use that warranty!
Call the company provide them your serial number .. if its under warranty they'll replace it free, If it is not then if you know any computer technicians or anyone that works on pc's ask them first to see if they have any spare ones..
