yes they did, they claimed it showed the real power of the ps3 until the company that made the pre rendered trailer came out of the blue and said they made it. Kennedy you clearly know nothin, KZ1 was terrible with loads of issues yet you claim that this will be the best game ever. This is still 1 or 2 generations behind the pc.

I'm still looking forward to Lair, Final Fantasy XIII, MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter, Sly, Gran Turismo 5 etc. Killzone 2 is but one of the many titles i look forward in PS3's future. I wasn't following E3 2005 but from what i've gathered they've said that the CGI Killzone 2 trailer from 2005 was real-time. Later on, they said they thought they were asking about Resistance not Killzone 2. Anyway, the new trailer is 85% close to the original CGI trailer. The only thing worse are textures and some facial movements. Animation, blood, amount of action on the screen witnout drop in FPS, use of blur etc. looks amazing. Apparently, Killzone 2 is still in "pre-pre" alpha. As HOODPROPHET said, that's probably some PR bull---- but they've still got a year to go and Killzone 2 can only improve. Don't judge a book by it's cover.
Wow that looked effing sick. I currently have a Xbox360 because I couldn't wait long enough to play next gen on PS3... however I will probably buy one so I can play this game. I have Killzone 1 and I've gone through it a good 4 times already. I even jumped off my 360 to play it again because the titles were just getting a bit boring.. and then rainbow came out . Whoever said it looks like gears.. you're an idiot. This is a continuation of the first one which happened to have came out a good 5 years back. Meaning if anything gears looks like this. KZ1 was awesome I think, the only reason people say it was bad because it came out near the next gen stage and it was being compared to the next gen games more or less. And it definently isn't the only thing sony has, that's a pretty ignorant thing to say. It's like me saying 360 has Halo 3 and nothing else... of course I wouldn't say that because I played the Beta and wasn't at all impressed. So considering how I have a 360 it would deff suck if all microsoft had was halo 3 :/ Anyways if you look at the new Getaway game coming out for PS3 the graphics are incredible. When I saw some of the rendered images it looked better than anything I've seen before on these next gen consoles. KZ2 will rock your sox, get over it.

[/b][/quote] I was thinking kz2 was coming out this holiday so was kinda referring to the holiday line up even though i didn't say it =\ but then I learned its a year till kz2 comes out. Also out of that list you gave me only Lair and ratchet and clank come out this year the rest all still have around a year to wait. So this year ps3s going to have only around 5 good games coming out then they all have to wait a good 8 months before they can get anything new
