Yeah what sucks even more.. Vista doesnt have a driver for my video card so if i dont reload XP i either can't play cs or i have to get a new video card... XP HERE I COME!
what card do you have, I bet vista has a driver. probably not as good as the XP driver but still usable.
I've been using this keyboard for about a year now and i love it. check out lcdstudio.com for a great program to make your own setups
I'd have invested in a new graphics card(or in this case a new mainboard so you can actually get a non-PCI card) before I bought a keyboard. what's the point of a gaming keyboard if you can't run games well?
I don't play alot of games. I mean a play a little bit i do more server management and administration which i've already wrote some scripts and programmed some custom macros for it and i love it
I've got that keyboard. I think it's worth the money. Most games have information displayed on the little screen, and there are 54 programmable macro buttons on the side. You can program the macro keys to do many different things such as: -Assigning keystrokes -Assigning unique macros for games you have installed -Assigning shortcuts for any program -And MORE! Only bad thing about the keyboard is that I find the keys are hard to make out if the backlight isn't on at all times (even during the day). But the light looks sweet, so who cares
I have this keyboard too I got mine for 50$ !! I dont play supported games with the keyboard Suprisingly they dont have any counter strike stuff for it (Last time I checked) I dont even use the programmable keys just the LCD and light. that site (lcdstudio) doesnt work.
Especially if you use TeamSpeak, I recommend SirReal's G15 Plugin. EDIT: The plugin to make the buttons and LCD flash to the music you're listening to is called Ray's G15 Winamp Plugin. It can be pretty hard to find, so here: Ray's G15 Winamp Plugin Simply put the *.dll in ...\Winamp\Plugins\ and start Winamp. It's actually a really nice plugin even if you don't want to use the flashing keys aspect of it (which is probably a bad idea anyway... read on). To get all your keys to flash, you need to enable those options in the application's hidden menu. Press the fourth soft key on your G15 (the one all the way at the top, all the way to the right), scroll all the way down using the volume dial, hold both Ctrl buttons (yes, both of them) and scroll down with the volume dial again. You'll see two new options. Press the play/pause button to turn them on. The reason he put those options in a hidden menu is because he didn't want to be held responsible if you screw your keyboard up using the flashing options. Nobody is sure how much the keyboard can handle and you could most likely ruin your keyboard by forcing it to variate so much. So I wouldn't run those options very much if at all. I don't have mine flashing, but it's a great plugin anyway. Best one for Winamp I've come across. Enjoy your new G15. ^.~
