I am looking to buy a new computer monitor. Cost isn't important, but the specs are:

    19'' or 22''
    2000:1 Contrast Ratio (or better)
    Digital / VGA

    Samsung/Acer/LG/whatever is good really..

I just need recomendations on good monitors. Looking for best I can find.
Please post links. Can be from anywhere on the internet/retail store/newegg, etc.

    24inch Sony FW900

    insanely high contrast ratio
    0ms response time
    perfect viewing angles
    no back light bleed
up to a 160Hz refresh rate

costs around $200 on ebay +shipping

sounds too good to be true ehh. It weighs like 100lbs though and you don't get the ePenis boost but...

the epenis boost is what you get when you have a monitor which is smaller than your dick, AKA LCD based.

one thing to note though, LCDs do tend to be a bit easier on the eyes(atleast this is what I've heard I've never noticed the difference nor had a headache) so if you don't game and you're just using it for office work, an LCD is the way to go.

CRTs are still king of color accuracy though(asside from LCDs which are LED backlit but i have no idea where to get those and they tend to cost 1500+ for a 20inch monito)

I am not sure what monitor I am currently using. But I must say, I have purchased MANY monitors over the years and I am completely satisfied with this one.

It is a NEC (19 inches), and I paid aprox. $300 US for it, but I purchased it a little over a year ago; it's probably a lot cheaper now.
