Exactly, with an infinite amount of sample space (the universe, it never stops...so we think) there has to be some other form of life. However, the chances of there being a planet being created that supports life is very rare as well. Just because we make it to the next star doesn't mean that all the planets won't all be barren deserts or frozen ice cubes. The Earth was the exact distance away to form a proper atmosphere, have bearable weather, not be too hot/cold. The weirdest thing to me is that when you look up into the sky, you see all the stars that some are pretty much at an unmeasurable distance away. Just think of another life form looking up at night and watching our sun. O.O Meh, I had a debate on this for school lol.
As much as i wish to believe this story i dont. Mainly because the chances of finding a bieng from outer space that looks like anything close to a Human is extremely slim. I do believe that the are other life forms but not as most people imagine them. If Humans ever do find lifeforms from another planet it is moist likely to be some type of bacteria/germ or something very basic like primordial soup. For any of you that dont know what primordial soup is then Google it because I can't be bothered to explain :tongue:
Other living organisms can survive on this planet in different conditions to what humans can let alone other places I.e. cóckroaches, in a Nuclear attack humans will die, because it's deadly to us, but cóckroaches.. They can survive nuclear fallout without a problem. Just an example We all started from bacteria, and it's easily possibly for other types of bacteria to survive on other conditions and evolve with those conditions in mind, they won't have lungs like us that depend on in-taking oxygen, they will probably live off of another chemical in the air. Just because humans can't live on Mars, because of it's conditions, doesn't mean something else can't.
i too, beleive there to be other life forms of some intelligence out there. i believe they can be just like us, humans-to an extent. maybe just different animals/insects; and other organisms of that sort. hell, i also believe there are "aliens" on this planet. and by that i mean species of organisms we havnt quite found out about yet, there are till places in the earth that are unexploreable to this point. why the government hides everything they find, some say its for "protection". they think that society would freakout and kill itself if they new other life forms existed in the universe.
Aliens probably do exist, maybe we are more advanced than most of them so thats why they haven't come to visit our planet yet.
