Before I asked what'd be a good PC, I decided to spend a little extra now on some different parts since I have a bit more money, and this is what I came out with

Is there anything I should change / Improve? :

But the company may not give a discount for a while until all of their stock of Q6600's run out and they buy their new amount which may not be for a while

I'm mainly concerned about the cooling at present, especially if i decided to SLI 2 GTX's in a few months time!

if you are planning on another GTX LOL you will be like raping the games at an expense :D

hm cooling wise i can only suggest your case - I think ive seen bubble neon cases - Instead of flashy lights go for a optimum cooler - You can always add lights later on if there is a side window with sidefans if necessary

I went for an 850W so when I want an SLI set-up I can just plug in a new GTX and done!

That's excluding VAT! £1525 totalled up, incl:

    1 Year warranty,
Free Repairs including picking up and delivery back,
    Making the PC for me,
Extra cooling Fans, Heat sinks etc.
Updating the whole thing with the latest drivers so i don't have to bother!

    Getting it from http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/

I don't think you can buy parts separately until you buy a machine from them, but once you've brought a PC from them they can supply you with parts to upgrade it.

You know, the price conversion is SOOO messed up between US and UK. They basically change the sign.

"And I'm proud to be an American where atleast I know I'm free..."

    no but seriously... heh

let me take a look at that site. normally i'd suggest just building it yourself and saving some serious cash but that depends on the person. soem people can be complete idiots, total dutzes etc(BTK) but after 6months worth of talking to me on AIM they're geeks, have built multiple systems and build systems for friends and relatives.

I wouldn't suggest Vista Home Basic, can't remember but if im thinking correctly Basic hardly comes with any features Home Premium comes with.

    oohh

    vista + G80 = ----.

    Vista + SLi = ----

just giving you the heads up.

I'd highly suggest using XP if you plan on gaming under vista with nVidia hardware.

i saw the striker motherboard and i was really impressed :D

I am now planning on buying the board and going the C2D way lolz atm quads are expensive so most likely use one of the C2D - Overclock it bit by bit so i dont fry the parts just in case something bad happens :D Going to wait till the price cuts though - When were the price cuts expected anyways?
