    But then again I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate

    mmmm.... find someone who works @ microsoft. Vista only cost 10 bucks for me cuz my friend works there :D

    My mate has vista on his laptop, he hates it and i hate it ^^

    best thing to do is go and get a copy of XP SP2 ----- its a much more stable and tested OS

    Also vista isnt compatable with alot of older programs and patches for those programs to work on vista arent available, so if youre trying to run software thats more than 1.5 years old, then ur just wasting ur money cos they wont work

    Linux > Mac OS X > Windows XP > Bucket of ---- > Vista.

    Most colleges sell Windows OS's pretty cheap when you are enrolling. If you know anyone going to college soon, see if they can pick you up a copy.
    I got Windows XP Home this way for $20.

    Unless you can get windows for extra cheap, I would seriously recommend you adapt to Linux. Its free, stable, fast and is rapidly growing in popularity.
