You take out the old harddrive and put it in the new computer, unless you are expecting to run both hdds then i have no idea
Dude give him more info.. Well okay you take out the hard drive its probally going to have its jumpers set at channel select or at master. Move the jumper to the slot that matches up with the diagram that should be on the hard drive for SLAVE If you need more help msg me on msn
Well what type is it IDE or SATA SATA is easier to connect whereas IDE .. i hate it lolz As said set the jumpers correctly and if its IDE you might have 2 IDE on 1 cable .. use that to connect both up on one slot on the motherboard Boot up .. and see if they appear on the BIOS DARKSTAR
Do you want 2 running together, i.e. one slaving on the other, or do you want to completely replace the main HDD?
pull drive out replace it. plug in appropriate cords. pretty hard to F' it up. if you were able to remove it(which is pretty damn simple) you'll be able to put it back in.
Just make sure you setup one of them to "slave", if you want to use both. For example, you want all your work that you have in your old PC or Music, if you set it up to slave, you can check all the files from the old hard drive.
Nah i didnt want to use both together I bought a computer and sold it to my bro and he gave me his computer.... So i wanted to take the hard drive from it and put it in his old 1 that hes giving to me and put his one from the old computer into the new computer. But it didnt work. the connection thingies werent rite size
