Ok well I was playing around today hooking up hard drives to my computer to see which ones work and now I get this message every time I turn on my computer. I tryed searching on google and reading the guides but nothing helped. Also tomorrow I'm buying a new hard and this is my idea.

    -Install the new hard drive
-Switch my old hard drive and make it a slave and use the new hard drive as master

Now my question is will all my files and programs be able to work if the hard drive is on slave? And will the message go away?

    Thanks

That message is talking about DHCP and Mac Addresses...which are related to networking...you probably messed something up while installing your hard drives..

also I believe you have to change something in your master boot record to boot from a slave drive....but why don't you just make it a secondary master instead of a slave?

Yup related to networking - Unplug your network stuff? - sometimes i forget to check the jumpers so could check them & secondary master would work too i believe
