    No problem, and its a branded RD RAM so it would be best to check out the biggest samsung centre for this kind of a RAM. Also I don't have any kind of idea what it is in the States, so can't tell you any particular shop for some reason.. LOL!

    Good luck bro and please have a look at the Samsung centres

    don't bother, RAMBUS RAM costs too much.
    you can get a new CPU board and RAM for about the same price.

    see, $100 a stick, and you need two.(damned RIMMs)

    hasn't been manufactured in years.
    cost a ton in the early 2000s when it was released. hasn't gotten much cheaper either.

    cheaper/faster/lower latency/lower heat output & electric consumption

    cheap board

    cheap CPU

    also, don't worry about the CPu "being fewer Mhz" it does nearly twice as much work per Mhz.

    if you wanted to spend somewhat more...

    but yeah. Basically rambus and i850 were slated for obsoletion in the beginning of 2001

    =============

    EDITL other thing to consider, try to find this RAM used somewhere. people often throw out their old systems, chances are you could potentially find the RAM and buy 512mb(2*256mb) of it for around $20-30 if you look around.

    pretty much any Rambus RAM(PC800) would work FYI.

    two things wrong with that.
    1 look at the price. DDR2 RAM (which offers over doubt the bandwidth at much reduced latency) is literally 1/10th the price
    2 Rambus needs to be paired(dual channel) to operate under intel based chipsets. it's 16 bit memory and the memory controller only operates @32bits length.
