The Big Shop of FREE needs your help!

Many of you now know of The Big Shop of FREE and what it does; in short, it is an enterprise that buys resources FR and gives them out to the GR Community. There are others like it (GR Mafia - in fact many crews, like ED to name another - or Da Freebie Shop) and nothing much separates it from the crowd in my honest opinion. BUT it has the chance to become one of the largest FREE resource collections on GR.

Nearly a month ago, the Shop hit it's half-year anniversary and as a tribute to it I created this account (it's Chakka here btw ) started building a new topic, and began spending creds. In total, thanks to some donations and some good sales, I have spent around 8k creds and $7 on resources since that day.

Now, today the "Nu 'n' Improved" Shop went live. You can find it here:

But it still only has 28 items in it. Why, when I have spent so much? Because, a few days ago when I reached 182creds and realised it was the lowest/poorest I had been since I began on GR years back, I thought "somehow I need to get more creds to keep buying resources!" Well I'm *hopefully* in the process of getting 5k, and have bought 5k in small sums over the past day or two (and I'd sworn never to spend money on creds, as money is tight for me...luckily I received a bonus for some work I did). But past those credits, I won't be able to buy any more...once they're gone that's it. And I have nothing to sell, as everything goes to the Shop.

Well, no that's not true. I have hundreds of resources not yet in the Shop I could sell, so I thought that's what I would do. I'm selling my resources to GR, for Posting Rights Basically.

So here's the deal. I have over 160tags, three C4D packs and two Fractal packs. I have five tutorials, maybe more soon, and at least two LP's. And I have this account, with 0creds in it. Now I've sold tags PR for 100creds a piece in the past...but of course I wouldn't do that now. I reckon, 20creds a tag, 150-300 per pack/lp etc. is right.

So, I'm after 4-5k in "Donations" to the Shop. By donating, you release quality resources to the community. And don't read this and think "I don't even have 1k creds..." if everyone on GR gave 1credit it would build up extremely fast! Also, only donate to THIS account, not my Chakka one.

I didn't really want to do this, but I've tried giving away free avatars and other things with notes asking for donations, I've tried spreading the word with a number of topics, I've tried buying for cash and I've tried selling PR. This is the only thing left I can think of to get funds for the Shop, to keep it in continued growth. But I don't expect you to donate blindly. Following is a large percenatage (though by no means all) of the resources. IF you think that most, or any, are worth releasing LR for EVER then please send some creds!

Like I said, that is a fraction of the Resources, and about 75% of the tags I'm wanting to release to my Shop. I'm constantly buying more, and this action will never be repeated unless something completely unforeseeable occurs.

And before people say it, I'm not begging for credits. I'm appealing to the members of GR to help fund an enterprise that benefits the entire community, both in the present and the future, as others have done before me.

Thank you for reading ^_^

P.S I will be around for short amounts of time for the next week, so may not be able to answer all questions etc. but will try to when, and if, I manage to get on.
