    Well... Since my comp is getting a bit old, I am going to buy a new one soon and would like you to tell me if this build is good for the price

    * A-DATA DIMM kit 2 GB DDR2-800, RAM
    * AOpen DH-20A1S, DVD drive
    * MSI P6N SLI-FI, MOTHERBOARD
    * Western Digital WD3000JS, HD
    * Cooler Master Cavalier 3, BOX
    * Sony Disquetera,
    * Thermaltake Toughpower 650 vatios, PSU
    * IntelĀ® Core 2 Duo E6600,
    * Asus EN8800GTS/HTDP, GFX

    I was also wondering if getting one of these 10000rpm HD would make any difference when playing. If so, which one should I get?

    Thanks in advance

    I wouldn't bother wasting money on a 10000rpm hard drive. You'd get more benefit by buying a cpu cooler and overclocking your processor. For the motherboard go for either a gigabyte,asus or Evga as they are the brands that seem to be the best overclockers.
    For the ram I'd pick some other stuff that is overclocker friendly.

    wtf is a Sony Disquetera?

    rest is fine

    Great motherboard, but try to get the platinum version because the NB wont overheat. Its also a ocerclock beast. 10,000RPM Hard drives do load games and maps and such faster. Get a CPU cooler so you can overclock.

    But not fast enough to justify the increased cost and less storage. RAID 0 is better value.

    we can't tell you if it's a good build for the price since you didn't include one.

    but all that should run under $1000 excluding the OS.

    depends on the scenario.

    I will say that my old raptor made everything feel smoother though
