good to release it to the public, but IMo it looks like crud and the 3d performance seems less than stellar, very choppy.

I'm using it right now,and the best part is that the search bar in the start menu works.

 

Is there a way to get just the search bar without all that other vista crap? I don't need transparent windows and pretty edges. I need a working search bar...because the dog in windows search pisses me off.

I think it's "vistart" I dunno if it searches drives.

 

I dont like the vista start menu at all .. compared to the classic one

Its too GUI for my likings .. makes it look amateurish but thats just my personal opinion on the Vista transformation - I am still using vista inspirat on WinXP and its awesome
