I couldn't really think of anywhere else to put this but it's slightly related to technology.

So my friend is going to shoot kind of a small movie and he wants me to help him edit it. I need a program that will help me do this :P and any tips on editing would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps :).

For something small i would say use movie maker might not be the best but it can get the job done but you could also use adobe premiere which is a rather expensive program but can get you a more ----- movie

Haha, yeah...Adobe programs. Then again, I will be doing this throughout the whole summer so might be good in the long run.

Well i hardly think you will have the funds for Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere but for a small project i would say movie maker as those programs are not for the light people ;)

If money is not an option then get Adobe Premier but if it is use windows movie maker.

Adobe premier is good becuase it has lots of effects and it makes the movie look good.

If it is just going to be a small movie then use movie maker.

Like the other person said before get the trial and test it for 30days or however long you want and if you don't like it then use movie maker or buy the full version if you like it.

After effects isnt a video editing program .. AE is literally Photoshop for videos :D and trust me AE is complex lolz and depends on what you want to do - I would go for Premiere personally since ive used vegas and premiere
