I would collapse and cry, then move to Canada if she was elected president. Well, maybe not Canada... Possibly Britain..

He may be favorable, but I think he strays too far from traditional Conservatism. The original Conservatives (e.g. Barry Goldwater, Ronald Reagan) would say that Guiliani isn't a traditional Conservative by any Republican standards. One major part of his policy that isn't entirely traditional is the gay marriage. While people confuse Conservatives as being gay bashers and bible thumpers, Goldwater Conservatives generally believe - as defined by "Consciences of a Conservative" (a book) - that Conservatives look at the literal needs, not the spiritual. If he wants to appeal to voter's morality by accepting gay marriage, so be it. It just doesn't sound like traditional Conservativism to me. Sexual preferences should be private, not open.

EDIT: Oops! Maybe I said it the wrong way. Conservatives of a traditional level normally feel that things like gay marriage should be an individual liberty - not a national concern. What right does government have to decide on what one can do? The reason Goldwater Conservatives dont endorse it is because it is a private matter and should be handled in individual unions, not as a whole nation.

Conservatism and liberalism have become complete bullcrap today anyways, so what does it matter if he isn't so "conservative"?

I don't give two ----s if Hilary's democrat, liberal, or what not. If she can manage to do a great job as President, it wouldn't matter at all. ;)

Good point; if a candidate can do well, thats good. I just feel like I support Conservatism in its traditional means cause I want us to go back to when Republicans were just as freedom-loving and right-supporting as members of the ACLU and the Democrat party. I respect the Democrats though ;) I just consider myself someone who wants change in the Republican party.

Wow you are quite ignorant. The confederate flag is NOT a symbol of bigotry, but rather a symbol of southern heritage/pride. Next time you speak, please know what you're talking about.

Enough people would vote against her that she wouldn't win. I hope she doesn't win the Democratic nomination, not because I dislike her, because if she wins it a Republican will win the presidency.

Yeah, because God forbid we give them evil Republicans anything.

Christ, take a look at what the candidates stand for instead of playing this bull---- partisan game that most people today play. Oh, we've got to vote a Democrat into office because if we didn't, the Republicans would win and ------ whatever either candidate stood for.
