Foldup keyboard

so, i want to take notes in school on a keyboard type thing, but a laptop is huge and inconvenient,and i saw a person at school with one of these, so i wanted to get one, so pllease refer any links to anything like this you've heard.
so i saw a foldup keyboard attached to a small moniter, not sure if it was a pda or not but w/e. basically i jsut want a small foldable keyboard or something, and like maybe a screen, could be a handheldd iguess, and like something cheap preferablly, or as cheap as possible, and like, i was thinking about how drawing diagrams might be an issue, so maybe something with a touch screen? but touchscreen isn't necessary. thanks in advanced for any links you post =]

There's someone at my school that has a keyboard with like a 2-3 inch screen on top of it, he cant write though, thats what it's for.

 

ive seen a light one before, the keys are projected onto a platform

 

Yeha, it was on pimp my ride. They had a keybord prjected onto the truck floor lol
