GR doesn't have a Tenacious D topic

Tenacious D is a rockband formed by actor/singer Jack Black and Kyle Gass

the band has 2 albums and a movie and they are the, self proclaimed, best f*cking band in the world!
and I tend to beleive them
songs like Beelzeboss, Kickapoo and tribute are brilliant and funny

 

hahaha, yeah I love Tenacious D. Have you seen their movie yet? Its so funny, but funnier if your high. xD

 

I dislike Jack Black, he is not a funny guy... period. I never cared for Tenacious D, mostly cause of Jack Black... but the songs I have heard... sucked.

true, most of it is just funrock, but some songs are great, like tribute

 

This might scare people but...I hate Tenatious D. I tried to watch the movie, and I ended up throwing the DVD (which I payed a good 35$ for) out the window. The only enjoyment I got out of Tenatious D was that the DVD made a nice twirl in the air and then hit a kid on the bike. Jack Black and Kyle Gass are ok when they're apart and without instruments tho.

 

Saw them in concert.
Was great, huge set up, funny as usual.

I love Tenacious D, despite Jack Black being a meh actor. It's just fun music. ^_^

The Older Album is faar better then the new one, it's not quite so blatantly attempting to be funny.

I didnt know they were a real band. i thought they were just jokin around for that movie they made.

 

It's a realy nice band, i really love their humor in their texts and so on, esspecially when they made the movie, uhh you gotta love that band
My favourite song that they have made must be Tribute, it's damn good..

 

meh, old album has more funny parts, but less music
