I think that when the Admins thought of the new rule to disallow selling tutorials GameRenders died....

    Without Selling Tutorials:
    Its harder to make money
Its harder to find quality tutorials

    With Selling Tutorials:
    You can make money
People work harder on the tutorials to sell them

I know they banned selling tutorials because learning should be free, and I support that . But its not like there selling tutorials for 100-200 Cr, or out of this world kind of prices. I know people work harder on there tutorials if there getting sold, and there also more likely to use a better Tag, that has a lot of layers, so they can give more detail.

So I Say, Bring Back Tutorial Marketing!

    Share what you think.

Nah, it's better this way, people will sell again tuts in the place of posting em in the tut section .

U can easy find good tutorials in the tut section, and if u think they are bad, make self a good tag, make tut and share em with other .

    My opinion .

Well imo I had a real grudge against it but I must say I can live without it now tbh haha. I wouldn't mind getting it back but it's not needed imo, the graphic tutorial section is now full with good tutorials aswell, before it were all less good ones.

Exactly, bring it back but add a maximum amount for the price.

We've had this discussion with many members before. The previous thread in News and Announcements got closed because it turned into a complete flame war, it's the same reason this thread will get closed soon.

GameRenders isn't allowing the selling of tutorials. No one knows if this will get changed in the future, but for now it won't.

Quite the opposite, add a minimum for the price, like 75 creds. That way only people who make friggin amazing tuts will sell them because they know people will buy and that way the people who can afford get access to the good stuff that without selling NO one would have. Because a lot of people who sell tuts will just keep the best tuts private = everyone is a loser. If you add a maximum price they still won't sell, and every ok tut will cost like 10 creds, or 20 creds, but this way, the tuts remain free but the REALLY good ones which wouldn't have been released for free, are released and sold. And no one will charge a lot for an O.K. tut because no one would pay.

As much as I loved selling tuts because it was an easy way to make credits, I have to agree that banning the selling tuts is better in the end. Now theres tons more free tuts and some people still make really good quality ones and give them for free, like Syke.
