To Repeat. The world won't end, human life will get wiped out possible (Although not in 012) but life will find a way to survive, it always has. Animals survived when the meteorites (Or whatever you believe killed the dinosaurs) Hit, animals survived through the ice age and whatever humans do to try and destroy this planet...life, will find a way (Jurassic park quote ftw)
The world will end when oil resources finally run out and the superpowers decide to fight for the last remaining untapped natural gas, coal and oil deposits. WW3 ftw.
By the time that happens there will be enough solar power,hydro power or wind power to keep everything in order.
Blue_fire dont be naive, Australia, and USA, both have made little to no moves to implement alternate energy trials. Meanwhile the worlds biggest oil fields are predicted to be dry within 8 years or less.
I remember flippin through the channels one day and all of a sudden, there was this show on National Geographic that had to do with 2012. They say that there's this huge paper with codeing on it that tells the future and says that the world will end getting hit by a meteor on December 12, 2012. Anyone seen somethin like that?
So? Canada and other countries have and we already have enough to power a province or more for ever. Even if the oil fields dry up so what? They knew it was coming and its going to happen. Soon enough the USA is gonna have to give up and make everyone use hydro/eletrical cars. Oh and whoever said that scientists can't even predict the weather is wrong. There doing a much better job then you ever will and the scientists are 80% of the time right.
My town is about 50km south of the tropics. We recorded 6degrees C the other night. That is 5 degrees colder than our lowest on average EVER recorded. The ice is melting, and the world is changing faster than most people are willing to admit. Im no greenie, but i know somethings wrong, and i can see a lot of ---- going down because of the inability of our society to stop thinking about their hip pockets. Why is it irrational to see ww3 start over something as precious as oil? WW1 and WW2 were started over nothing more than disagreements between important figures of different governments, and look at the millions killed and murdered as a result!
the world will end, it will happen, it is doubtful we will cause it, and we cant stop it. just enjoy the time you have now.
i guess we shall then , and the end of the world, if we are still alive, ought to be a spectacular sight
