First, let me say that Leopard looks amazing. They're making what look like some serious improvements. Quantity-wise, they're largely cosmetic, but the deeper improvements look huge. Time Machine anyone? If i were you, i would cruise around apple.com and check leopard out. i cant wait for it.

ANYWAY, i just downloaded the new safari beta. at first i was kind of disappointed to see that it uses whatever GUI you have built in but i guess thats good for theme makers. the second thing i noticed is that it is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY FREAKING FAST. its way faster than anything fasterfox can give firefox. of course it doesnt have add-ons in the mac version, but thats a sacrifice im willing to make. another thing im noticing is that if i try to close this window it notifies me that i have filled in text in this box and i have to confirm the close. also, i can scale the text box and the dropdowns above it are web 2.0 styled. very slick indeed.

other than that, there arent any major improvements i can find. but "if it aint broke, dont fix it". its still an extremely robust browser and now its much faster than every other browser.

I've basically come to the conclusion that it sucks.

    no middle clicking...

    as for it being fast.

HUH? 0 speed difference for me. Most pages open almost instantly for me in firefox, heck even IE. no difference here.

    Come on, now.

We all know that PC > Mac.

Mac simply just doesn't have the software that Windows has, therefore, Windows is more successful.
