AVG --- w/Firewall is good if you wanna pay for something, if not, AVG is fine, as for a firewall... I dont know. Never used one. If someone wants to hack my pc that bad, have a riot. What happens when I unplug my modem? Yes I realize I'm not always at my pc, but, hey.

the antivirus i use on my laptop is Symantec and i think its really good, haven't come across any malicious viruses, I've tested it numerous times to see if it actually was working and to my surprise it was. My school supplied us with the antivirus though i think im gonna go get a copy of it as its not a real memory hog, pretty quick and reliable.
