What is the best pcie card under 100 bucks not including shipping? please nothing higher than 100 i thought about the 8500gt which was 89 bucks
x1650XT or perhaps 7600GT(overall slightly behind the x1650XT) next best card would likely be an x800GTO the somewhere after that the 8500GT
ah i see i sold that 8800gts i got and buying a core 2 duo and a ok card to hold me for a couple of months. had a x800gto, but had to send it back to newegg, got 89 bucks refund cause it was out of stock, also sent back that mobo, got the same one except new.. and added a gig of ram i think im set for now prolly go with x1650xt or 7600gt
I have a 7900GS 256 MB. I'm not impressed with it. So probably stay away from that at least Good luck with your search.
7600GT and x850XT PE are about on par the 800GTO is just abit slower(12 pipelines vs 16 and slower memory and core clocks) overclocking and unlocking definitely brings the 800GTO to near 850XTpe levels but it's still a little short. I'd personaly say x1650>7600GT>x800XTpe all by about the same amount. again x1650XT is still the card of choice overall. one thing to consider though. EVGA si a fairly good vender of cards based on nVidia chipsets. they do have a stepup program where you can trade your card in for a higher one(though their online shop prices are often higher than they retail for)
I am sooo glad ive waited http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16814130062 thats a GT, it was more than a 100 yesterday i think.. lmao im soo cool
ummm depends what ur after tbh, nvidia better for gaming as it performs and better for games, and ATI for general use like office work and crap
At that budget, ATI might be better. Also, for office work, you don't need a video card, you can stick to onboard.
yea but i do a more than average gaming... about 2-6 hours a day depending on the day im ganna get the 7600gt
Well, if you're a gamer, you should be prepared to buy a 8800GTS 640MB edition, that and higher is the only thing feesible for gaming right now really..
Not all gamers need to run to run at 1900x1200... A 7600GT will do at 1024x768, but at higher resolutions you'll need something better.
