Now, I've heard MANY of you use Steam, and I think it's a game playing thing, but apart from that, I don't know anything. Could anyone explain to me how Steam works, and vote if you use a legal copy of the game or a CD-key generator thing (not sure how they work ) But JW anyway.
i bought one back in the day STEAM ID: 1525 (four digit cd key = very rare) i use that one for leagues, but i bought anohter one this past summer (seven digits starts with 5) and yeah. (this is for counter-strike mind you). the way steam works...basically its a platform, that lets you play almost any new game on it, sort of a...computer, when you start it up you can access diff things, it's the same concept. has a friends list (like AOL internet) but it's a POS and hardly works.
I use steam all the time and I have 6or7 leagal cd keys cause if u get them off the internet they will already be registered and u have to send them in the cd case with the key on it for them to reset it lol and it sucks cause u have to pay 30bucks to do that. Steam is like GameSpyArcade kinda u run games and get updates for games off it and some games u have to run them only through steam cause that is where all the servers are oh yeah that there are like 150x more servers running through steam then just through the game itslef and games that are played with steam I think are made by valve and Serria like half life Counter strike all serria and then Day of Defeat is valve
Ahh, steam! I have an acnt but got banned for one year since i lent is to this guy i know and he used hacks and they banned the acnt for 1 whole friggin year!!!!!!!!! Steam is a program which lets you play games like hl2, cs and other valve games and all. You have to have legal cd keys to play. Their security thing is tight i think. There r ways to get the games for free but its risky and i aint gonna try it. I would suggest if you come across a way to do it DNT!!
my original hl key that i used to register steam when it first came out wasnt legal, but my cz/hl2 keys are legit.
Steams actually a pretty good idea, dotn have to find a download for the patch. I wish Americas Army would do something like that just to make it harder for the cheaters.
