Ok so basically Pandora is not helping me at all. So I was hoping that you guys might be able to help me in this aspect. I do not just want any bands...and not a band that has just one song I like....here are a few bands I love and my favorite songs by them.

All help with this would be awesome...I am having new music withdrawls!!!

    Band - Song

    Augustana - Boston
Blue October - X-Amount Of Words
    Quietdrive - Time After Time
Lifehouse - Hanging By A Moment
Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder
Fallout Boy - Thanks For The Memories
Plain White T's - Hey The Delilah

My favorite out of those would be Augustana and Plain White T's.

How is Limewire gonna help me find bands similar to the ones I listen to? And as far as I know, Limewire is illegal is it not?

    last.fm might help(I stress might)

You seem to like more soft rock/indie pop type stuff

    try:
    band - song
The Good Life - Album of The Year(kinda like Hey There Delilah)
Bright Eyes - First Day of my Life(a good, slow, but uplifting song about love)
Pale Saints - (any song, really)
The Shins - Girl on The Wing
    Jack's Mannequin - Dark Blue
    anything by The Early November
Motion City Soundtrack - Capital H or The Future Freaks Me Out

All those songs that you posted are frequent radio songs, I think. Break away from the radio, they only play about 1% of the good stuff thats out there.
    Just my 2 cents :/

Haha thanks m8...I will go give those a listen right now. Hehe, I dont listen to the radio at all....unless Im not liking any of the music I have...which is very rare.

I grab most of the bands I listen to from friends and like Augustana...the occasional oops just stumbled across them.

Oh, I see. Yeah, I've got tons of music I've just stumbled on and downloaded and loved. Like Kaiser Chiefs and Flake Music.

The reaosn I said the radio bit is that most of those songs are big on the radio here, or so my friends say.

my diagnosis is that youre into very mainstream rock. here are some bands:

    Panic! At the Disco
    The Academy Is...
    Cartel
    Jack's Mannequin
    Nightmare of You (maybe)
    Something Corporate
    Eve 6

that should keep you busy for a while. try looking at more bands on Fueled by Ramen (FOB is, along with P!ATD and The academy is...)

Well, I always suggest branching off into newer genres, underground or mainstream. To me, genres don't even exist. Music is music. Enjoy it all. :D
