Not sure if this would be a big deal.

I was wondering if all of you would be interested in something of a forum host. Meaning, if I offered you free hosting for a new forum of yours, would you go for it? I just got this idea and would like to see if any of you would be interested.

For example, you can call your forum anything you want and it would be a phpbb forum of course. It would be hosted for free like this : http://yoursitename.gamerenders.net . Remember, this is all free . You would be able to create your own forum for free with no hassles of hosting fees.

This is just a thought. :shaggy:

If I was gonna make a site I would take your offer.

I think many people would like this idea.
But it's most important of course that all the hosting you give at people won't effect GameRenders itself :)

He means setup like InvisionFree, learn to understand peoples questions before criticizing them. From my understanding, yes, it would be alot like how Invisionfree is setup, IE you setup your account, get your own subdomain hosted by gamerenders, get your own forum (PHPBB instead of Invision), etc.

I might possibly do this, however the whole sub domain with Gamerenders on the actual site might throw people off, hence making them neglected to go with this. Possibly having their own domain (www.anything.com) But at the top saying: Hosting provided by Gamerenders.
If so, I would go for it!

Hmm, you are not look at the name - gamerenders.NET and I am not planing on using gamerenders.net anyways for the site. That was just for an example.

It will also not slow this site down at all.

It's taken two years + to build up the GameRenders name, why risk it on hosting other people's website? You have plenty of other domain names, use one of them. My powers of reading are a lot stronger then yours. Amazing how you tend to miss topics for you unless they specifically say your name..

The idea is nice and all, not really original though. I'd suggest thinking of some sort of catch that can draw members.

What are you talking about? What do you mean by me missing topics when my name is not listed in the post???

I never said I was going to use the gamerenders domain name! I will say it again, I was using it as an EXAMPLE!
