Now this is a suggestion for both donators and premium member.. so you can move this to premium member section if necceary... but here it goes --------- Paying money for this site to stay running is great and our features can be bought in the shop.. i think thats a bit unfair.... we paid 25$ for this and people can still get our features for free, granite we get our own forum but then again Premium member can be purchased for credits.... ------- So what im suggesting here is something very cool... for the Payers to get more features. Like the features below ---- Change Title Change Name Free 2000 credits when purchased And then for Donators only since they paid 20 dollars more... A better looking skin.. or have 2 skins 1 for premium members and Donators then 1 for donators... As a donator i have the right to say i paid a nice amount of money to keep this site running.. and to tell you the truth the forum's skin has some bad errors like the top add buttons not just text... same with bottom... and maybe a different logo for premium members and donators... saying You are a Donator then Gamerenders under it to show appreciation.... if this sounds like i dont appreciate what you give us already its not, im just wondering why the regular members can get what us proudly paid Donators/Premium members got for credits... that they could've or didnt earn.. its not hard to get credits.. but it is hard to work for money and use some of it that feeds our family.... to keep this site running is a lot Note: I am not being rude so please do not take this as an offence
Apparently, it isn't hard to get money either if people are willing to pay 25+ dollars for donator, credits, etc. But I dunno..
But it is hard.... We just like this forum so much that we use some of our money to keep it running, and then its like other people can just buy our stuff.. like you buy premium membership then you get 15% off of everything so you can get Donators membership for 300 GR Credits
Donator isn't for sale anymore so the only way someone would get it now, would be by paypal. The only Donator features for sale are close own thread. It would be nice to get 2k credits and a skin choice though.
Shaggy said the item wasn't going to be restocked anymore until further notice. So eventhough it's there, no one can buy.
Okay.. but i think donators should get the option to everything in the store... like make our names glow for free if we wanted how about pinning and unpinning our topics thats in the store... lol but that would be abused i know that.. we'll see i really like the skin idea.. i might make them buttons to use up top.... sounds like a good idea... brb
Change Title is something we are looking into, to allow Donators to do it for free. Seeing as how that is something that has already been discussed. I suggest using the search option next time. No you wont be recieving the change name item for free, ever. Donators already get a fairly decent discount in the store, thats more then enough as far as that is concerned. No we also wont be giving you a free 2,000 credits when you purchase Donator. Thats basically 10 dollars we would be giving you for free. Not going to happen. There is nothing wrong with our skin now, and to have just this skin made and coded, cost more then 5 Donator accountd, so no we wont be getting anymore custom skins, let alone skins for just one group. You have been here for only a few days, and you have taken it upon yourself to list everything you think you deserve. Nothing wrong with that, but how about we take a look at what your getting hm? A private Donator resource section. Access to the premium resource section, and all premium sections on the site. A rather nice discount in the store. Open/Close own topics. You have your user bar that clearly states your a donator, as well as a color in the list of people visiting the site at the bottom of the page that identifies you as a donator. A PM storage limit that has been increased to 3000 PMs The ability to edit posts without the edited notice appearing. All forum advertisements are also removed. I believe there is also a GR e-mail. You pay a one time fee, of 25 bucks, for quite a bit of stuff. I would say you are more then getting your moneys worth.
That discount does not work..... i went to pay for name change.. unless its actully suppose to be more but it said 75 GR credits and it charged me the whole ammount
I kind of agree with Logicaly here. Also in my eyes, all those things you are suggesting more sound like rewards for us for buying a Donator Membership. But a Donator donates money to help someone/something he or she wants to help, not to gain more out of it. I agree with Logicaly that we are given more than we need/should get. We're helping GR with our donations, they aren't obligated to give us something in return, and yet they do. The discount does work, but it just says you've paid full price. But check your credits, you didn't.
I don't want to be a dictator either... im just saying it would be cool.... i mean it seems it had changed i had an account for premium membership here before.. i sold it a while ago.. and we had cool stuff it would be awesome to have our own skin.. i dont care about name change pin topic i just think it would be cool to change the apperance a bit.. open close our own topics... cool but i dont care about that thats the mod's job to open and close topics.... in my opinion it would be awesome to get a new skin.. for Donators have a contest on that stuff there are a lot of talented people here that i know who can make awesome fourm skins... host a competition and reward them with something or try that.. you don't need to spend $ to get forum skins.......
I will say this one more time. There will be no seperate skin for Donators. No ones going to design a custom template, without a cash reward of some sort, how do we know this? How do you think we got the skin we are using now. Not to mention, after that skins designed then what? You have to pay yet a second person to code it to work here on the site. Then you gotta go through the hassle of uploading and getting the new skin all configured on the site, fixing any errors, making sure all modifications etc work on it. No, not going to happen.
